Connecting FMEAs - The Consistency of D-FMEA, P-FMEA and Control Plan
The creation of a consistent Design or Process FMEA is already an artwork. But what if these two should be connected to each other or even a suitable Control Plan should be created? Using an example, we will show you how PLATO e1ns promotes exactly this consistency of Design FMEA, Process FMEA and Control Plan and helps to avoid inconsistencies.

Filtering of Special Characteristics
Many of the current guidelines refer to the necessity to define and control special characteristics in the context of product and process development. None defines how this determination of special characteristics should be done. In this online session we will show you how PLATO implements a concept for the consistent consideration and filtering of Special Characteristics based on the VDA Guideline in PLATO e1ns.

Functional Safety and FMEA-MSR implemented in PLATO e1ns
In this online session we will show you how to implement the relevant steps of functional safety according to ISO 26262 and FMEA-MSR from the new FMEA manual from AIAG and VDA in PLATO e1ns. Using a consistent example, we identify a safety function via a hazard analysis, define monitoring functions and system reactions according to FMEA-MSR and evaluate the hardware architecture using FMEDA.
