From Tuesday to Friday we presented our latest product innovation PLATO e1ns to the visitors at the 28th Control exhibition in Stuttgart.
PLATO e1ns is the new PLM system for the optimum design of the product development process (PDP). With e1ns PLATO has developed a PLM solution which addresses the early stages of the PDP, right where the foundation for cost and risk avoidance takes place.
This approach and the user-friendly interface were only some of the things that our visitors at the Control last week found impressive about e1ns. Further specialities about the new solution are the document based risk analysis (Machinery Directive and Device Master Records) and the integrated Action-, Document-, and Project Management.
How does e1ns work?
The e1ns framework combines the phases of the PDP with the necessary development methods. It provides a platform to optimally combine methods and phases with each other. All forms necessary for the particular development process are provided. The definition of milestones and the integrated measures and document management system secure at all stages deadlines in time, full traceability and transparency for all parties involved. The consistent e1ns solution is supported by a full-fledged Web client, which ensures worldwide access and reduced installation costs.
Our PLATO consultants assist you in evolving the definition, development and application of your e1ns framework and thereby optimize your product development process sustainably.
On Tuesday 8, 2014 Dr. Karin Ammon held a technical lecture on the topic “Risk Assessment and Functional Safety according to the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EG – implemented in a single data concept by the use of PLATO e1ns”. In the 40 minute presentation she gave a brief introduction to the Machinery Directive and showed the related Risk Assessment and Functional Safety approach in an example.
