Use SCIO™-Process-Flow to plan and design process flows. Take advantage of the knowledge about products and their manufacturing processes that is already available via system analysis or FMEA. The logical sequence of production, testing and assembly steps and all further movements of a product (transport, storage, etc.) is analyzed and documented.

The representation of the entire process, including concurrent processes and their interrelationships, helps to identify the causes of possible malfunctions.

  • A process flow chart can be set up quickly. Use already existing data, such as system and function structures or FMEA data.
  • Relevant product characteristics are automatically assigned to the manufacturing processes by the system analysis. This not only ensures that the correct data is available, but also that it is complete.
  • A process flow chart can be created at any time. Either at the beginning of a project or by using the existing process FMEAs and production control plans during the running project.

  • The user can alternatively create and edit process steps in the graphical display or in the data table.
Monitoring & Documentation
  • Critical processes that cause product problems can be marked for better visibility. Here you can use symbols to identify special characteristics of products or processes.
  • As support for the engineering process, the process flow chart provides and documents the process and product assumptions already in the concept phase of a new product.
  • The process flow chart visualizes correlations within the process and between process part steps. The input and output systematics are displayed in a tabular view.
  • The archiving of process flows of any planning status is possible as an HTML document in table format or as an XML structure.
Continuous & Current
  • Via the SCIO™ database, all data of a process flow plan are immediately available in further SCIO™ modules, so that process steps, characteristics, etc. are always updated in the risk analysis or the production control plan without effort.
  • The SCIO™ database preserves the knowledge and makes it usable. For each question, the software provides you with an answer – based on known or possible contexts.
  • A Process FMEA and a production control plan are generated directly from a process flow diagram. Conversely, a process flow can also be generated on the basis of an FMEA or a production control plan.
  • Interdisciplinary work through location-independent and simultaneous processing enables the rapid creation of new process flow diagrams and the simple maintenance and processing of existing process flow diagrams – worldwide. This promotes teamwork and leads to a successful work process.
