Existing FMEA data is used as the basis for the DRBFM. The database supplies catalogs and suggestions from known analyses.

Generating FMEA data
Knowledge from the DRBFM analysis is selected and transferred to a specific, existing FMEA when this knowledge is valuable for an expanded risk analysis or when required for documentation purposes.

Communicating changes
One status variable is set to activate messaging for systems / products.

The review team is automatically informed of every change to a specification, function, or configuration. The entire change management is displayed using an PLATO SCIO-Block-Diagram. The processing status is also color-coded in the block diagram.
